The village itself is rich with history and boasts the oldest licensed pub in Scotland, the Clachan Inn, which is claimed to be a favoured "watering" spot for Rob Roy! The village has two Hotels one with a swimming pool and fitness club [pay locally], five restaurants and three pubs. There are a number of shops selling arts & crafts, outdoor clothing etc, Post Office, Spar Store open until 10pm every night. Drymen also incorporates a Butcher shop, Bank, Library, Medical Centre and a  Church . These are all within walking distance from the apartment.
